Summer Entertaining: Designing Outdoor Spaces

Summer is officially here, so it’s time to clean up our outdoor spaces for family get-togethers and BBQ’s. Here are some tips for designing a stylish space that fits your lifestyle.

FURNITURE: Pick furniture that will hold up depending on the weather and humidity where you live. If it rains throughout the summer, softer woods are not ideal. Make sure you have ample walkways and enough room to push chairs out. Simple is always better.

GREENERY: Planting greenery in pots that you can move around your backyard. You can easily change them up with different colored flowers or succulents.

ACCESSORIES: Throw pillows and outdoor rugs are an easy way to make the whole space come together while adding some fun pops of color.

LIGHTING: Lighting sets the mood- string lights across your pergola or from your trees to create a really nice ambiance to relax at night.
