YOKO ODA
M.A., ASID ALLIED, NKBA MEMBER
PRINCIPAL
Yoko Oda, M.A., ASID Allied, is the owner and principal designer of Yoko Oda Interior Design, LLC, which she established in 2009. Since 2019, she’s also been serving as a board member for the Las Positas College Interior Design Program.
Yoko’s early life in Osaka, Japan was drenched in spectacular art and design. Her mother is a floral artist who was awarded the International Art and Cultural Award by the Japanese government, so art and design were ubiquitous, shared family passions. As a child, Yoko loved spending hours rearranging the furniture in her bedroom, revealing her destiny quite early.
When Yoko moved to the United States for graduate school in San Francisco, she received her Certificate in Interior Design and established her business. Her design signature is the soothing blend of Zen, art, and colors that bring joy to the heart. Peace and happiness wash through a client’s system when entering a room transformed by Yoko.
Yoko enjoys every minute of her entrepreneurial adventure, especially working with the wonderful team of collaborators and creative minds she’s assembled. They share laughter, and devotion to artistic design; together, Yoko’s team has created many splendid projects. From small enhancements to complete house and office makeovers, throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Yoko and her team have transformed the mundane with joyful, inspiring finished designs.
When she’s not working, Yoko and her husband enjoy wine tasting and bike riding, gardening, and “cooking for people I love.” About herself, Yoko says, “I am unique, fun to work with, rounded and skilled.”

ERIC LEE
DESIGNER
Eric has a degree in Design from UC Davis and 10 years of experience back in his hometown of Hong Kong. Eric started a new chapter of his design career in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2017. Space planning and structural design are what Eric is keen on, and he is always looking forward to providing the client an extraordinary and unique space where they can enjoy, relax and feel refreshed. He believes a good design should be human oriented and self-contained with its own story. Communication and relating to the client is always the path to achieve this goal.
RACHELLE KNAPP
DESIGNER
Rachelle earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Chico State University. Her background includes working with detailed knowledge of tile and stone. Rachelle’s love of all things design began as early as she can remember. She loves discovering clients’ aesthetic preferences and interpreting their personal style into the design of their home. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, her style influences modern, and easy California living. She understands that each client is unique and that shows through to her designs. When she is not working, she is a wife and mom of two beautiful girls that keep life very busy.
MARY LANGUAGE
DESIGNER
Mary believes that the design is in the details! She considers herself to be equal parts designer and stylist. She would describe her design style as clean and modern with an unexpected twist. According to her, interiors should be functional as well as beautiful. When she’s in design mode, she always has the fine points in mind. Color, pattern, and texture play an important role in her styling and design process. Her fashion styling background, passion for textiles and interiors, including her degree in Design from UC Davis gives her a great eye for style and curation.
FUSAKO SEIB
OFFICE MANAGER
Fusako is originally from Tokyo and spent close to two decades in the San Francisco Bay Area.
