The proud homeowners of this stunning Lafayette home knew this was their dream property with the beautiful views of the valley and the privacy. The inside was old and outdated as well as architecturally difficult, so they contacted Yoko for her vision and expertise to make this house into a dream home. The newly added space of open windows brings in much needed natural light and creates a focal point. The Calcutta quartz countertops meet with the light wood kitchen cabinets giving it a modern yet timeless feel. The black appliances and hardware really reflect the contemporary space. The existing sunken family and dining rooms were joined to create an open layout. The fireplace has floor to ceiling tile that makes it the focal point of that room. The sleek furniture and pops of color really turned this space into the client’s dream come true. We feel so grateful to be a part of making their dream a reality.
