Amidst the local eateries lies Burma Restaurant located in Walnut Creek, CA. The business contacted Yoko to create a commercial restaurant design. Yoko and her team at Yoko Oda Interior Design wanted to design a modern take on Burma. The restaurant is filled with warm colors and interiors inspired by the area and culture to tell an authentic story of this local Walnut Creek restaurant business. The mural makes a natural focal point in the room while the light wood wall detailing and shelving keep it visually interesting. This spot is a fabulous place to enjoy some Burmese food surrounded by our modern design atmosphere in the East Bay.
